ITSM Insights
Meetups

Our meetups are in-person events — and they're back across all six Florida cities in August. To keep the momentum going between rounds, we're hosting two free virtual sessions in June and July. Same practitioner conversation, from your desk. Topic: the Continual Improvement Gap.

Round 1 is done. Real ITSM conversations across six Florida cities this May — and the momentum continues.

Why virtual this round?
The Florida ITSM Insights Meetups are in-person events — that's where the real conversations happen, and that's where we'll be in August across all six cities. June and July are two virtual sessions for one reason: to keep the momentum going between rounds. A chance to put the May material to work, compare notes, and stay connected without waiting until August. We're keeping the engine warm — then we're back in the room.
What's actually on June 16: the first time the full session — The Continual Improvement Gap — runs as one room across the network. It picks up the thread the May rooms started: the queue, the firefighting, why the platform going live didn't actually change anything — and lands on the one CI move you can run before August.

June 16 Virtual Session

The Continual Improvement Gap — why the platform goes live, the project closes, and six months later the queue and the firefighting look unchanged. ~55 minutes, live, from your desk.

Built for IT directors, VPs, managers, MSP owners, and service delivery teams.

  • Tuesday, June 16, 2026
  • 11:05 AM EDT · about 55 minutes
  • Online via Google Meet
The link arrives in your confirmation email, with a calendar invite. Live only — not recorded.
  • Free — no cost, no pitches, no vendor theater
What you'll walk away with
  • The Model — the Seven-Step Continual Improvement model, and the steps most teams skip.
  • The Tool — a CI Register with six non-negotiables: a backlog, not a graveyard.
  • The Rhythm — a weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence that makes improvement stick.
Counts toward your CE hours. Earn roughly one professional-development hour you can self-report toward your PMP® PDUs or ITIL® CPD. A Certificate of Participation is attached to your confirmation email. (Tideline Insights is not an accredited training provider — you self-report the time.)
e.g., no time between firefighting · no owner for improvements · leadership won't fund it · we log problems but never close them · no data to know what to fix. One line is plenty — it helps focus the session on what people are actually stuck on.

One Mission. Six Cities.

Real ITSM conversations for real IT pros — no vendor theater, no certification hard-sell, no "sponsored content." Just practitioners sharing what actually works.

Zero Sales Pressure

No vendor pitches. No product demos snuck in. No "just quickly mentioning our platform." This is a community space — full stop.

Practical Takeaways

Every session focuses on real wins you can apply the next morning — quick improvements, honest lessons, and ideas that actually work in the real world.

Local Community

Each city has its own meetup — meet IT pros from your own region, build local relationships, and be part of something growing from the ground up.

Frequently Asked Questions

100% free. No registration fee, no membership, no upsell at the door. The only ask is that you register here so we can plan accordingly.
None. ITSM stands for IT Service Management — the practice of delivering and improving IT as a service to the business. Whether you’re a certified ITIL Expert or you’ve never heard of a service catalog, you’re welcome. We keep the conversation accessible and skip the jargon when we can.
It runs on Google Meet. After you register, you’ll get a confirmation email with the join link and a calendar invite. The session is live only and not recorded, so plan to join at 11:05 AM EDT on June 16.
Yes. The session is about one hour you can self-report toward your PMP® PDUs or ITIL® CPD, and a Certificate of Participation is attached to your confirmation email. Tideline Insights is not an accredited training provider, so you self-report the time.
The series runs in rounds. May’s in-person kickoff is complete across all six Florida cities. June 16 and July 14 are statewide virtual sessions to keep the momentum going between rounds, and the in-person round returns to all six cities in August 2026.
None. We don’t assume you have ServiceNow, a CMDB, or any formal ITSM tooling. Sessions are designed for teams working with whatever they have — even if that’s just email and a spreadsheet.
Two ways: want to present or suggest a topic? Email ryan@tidelineinsights.com — the bar is simple: be useful to someone in the room. Interested in sponsoring an event or providing a venue? Reach out the same way. Sponsorships help keep the meetups free and community-first. No sales pitches — ever.
Yes. We’re looking for local companies willing to provide meeting space — a conference room, training room, or event space that fits 20–30 people. Hosting helps keep the meetup free, makes it more accessible, and gives your team visibility in the local IT community. No sales time, no product demos — just a great space. Email ryan@tidelineinsights.com if you’re interested.
If you’re in Florida and want to help build a local ITSM community, reach out to Ryan. More cities could be added if there’s interest and a willing local champion.
Email Ryan directly at ryan@tidelineinsights.com or connect on LinkedIn.
If any city event needs to cancel or reschedule, all registered attendees for that event will be notified by email at least 5 business days in advance. Questions? Email Ryan.
No. The Florida ITSM Insights Meetups are independently organized by Ryan Holzer through Tideline Insights. They have no formal affiliation with AXELOS, PeopleCert, ServiceNow, or any other vendor or certification body.

The Meetup Is Free. Going Deeper Is Optional.
